Description

The Granary at Woodbine Farmhouse is on the edge of the conservation village of Sutton on Trent and a short walk across fields from the River Trent. Good for walking and cycling (we offer safe storage for bikes) and an ideal base for historic Newark (8 miles), Southwell Minster and Rececourse (20 minutes), Lincoln with its castle, cathedral, shops and galleries (25 minutes), Rufford Country Park and Sherwood Forest (20 minutes). There's plenty to see and do however long you stay or you can take things quietly, sitting in the garden. It is also easily accessed from the A1. The village has a Co-op, post office, Hairdressers, pub, Library and Butchers. The cottage itself contained; decorated to a high standard with a private courtyard garden. The Granary is owned by Jennie Searle (Artist and Poet) and her husband Peter. Jennie's work is on display in her studio gallery. Only weekly bookings accepted Christmas & New Year.
