Only 10 minutes away from the popular resort of Newquay with its famous beaches and golden sands. A regular bus service runs through St Columb Minor. Our closest beach, "Porth" is only 15 minutes walk from St Columb Minor. The village itself has a Public House, which is a 3 minute walk from Fernwood, church, grocery stores and country walks from the doorstep. St Columb is ideally situated for touring Cornwall with many tourist attractions including the famous Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Helligan, Mevagissey, St Ives, The Old Port of Charlestown, all of which are within 30 minutes to 1 hour drive from Fernwood.

Fernwood, built by the owner, has a well-equipped modern kitchen with dining area, which will comfortably seats 7 people. The garden to the rear is fully enclosed with a patio and chairs a wonderful place to spend a warm evening.
