Easterly Cottage is a Grade 2 listed thatched cottage situated in the village of Poughill (pronounced Poffle). Easterly is well equipped and charmingly furnished. The pretty courtyard garden is full of mature shrubs, honeysuckle and perennials. The resort town of Bude is just a short distance away from Poughill. It has an 18 hole golf course, The Splash swimming pool complex and a well equipped sports centre. There are many good beaches locally including Crooklets beach (ideal for surfers and rock-pool devotees) and Widemouth Bay. Further afield are Bodmin Moor, Exmoor and Dartmoor and the lovely fishing villages of Boscastle and Clovelly, historic Tintagel and world famous Padstow and the Eden project - all within easy reach.
