Appledore, situated on the North Devon coast where the Rivers Taw and Torridge meet, is full of history with ancient houses, quaint streets, craft shops and a deep rooted fishing heritage. The Market Town of Bideford with its historic Panier Market is close by, as is the surfing beach of Westward Ho!, just a short walk away across Northam Country Park, home to England's oldest Links Golf Course. The Cottage is situated at the quay end of picturesque and charming Irsha Street and within easy reach of the very popular public houses, The Royal George and Beaver Inn. A few steep steps lead to a small garden acts as a sun trap ideal for sun bathing, balmy evenings and barbeques. Rainbow's End is a converted Fisherman's Cottage with parts dating back over 400 Years, gradually changing from fisherman's cottage to shops, to a lovely holiday cottage.
