Bulbarrow Hill has recently been commemorated as one of the few worldwide areas of outstanding beauty; ranking alongside Beachy Head and the Grand Canyon. Local amenities offer shopping, pub meals, golf, fishing, horse riding, walking routes, cycling routes etc. Sturminster Newton 5 miles, Blandford Forum 10 miles. Local sightseeing includes Sherborne Castle, (14 miles) Milton Abbas, Cerne Abbas (with its giant!), Shaftsbury and Wimborne.
