Hill End Cottage is well equipped and sleeps 6 people. It has an inglenook fireplace with a woodburner (logs provided), plus another woodburner in the dining room and is a comfortable setting for a relaxing break. It is close to the City of Wells. Bath and Bristol are close by, as is the coast. This beamed cottage features two double and one twin room (with comfortable 2'6' beds), and fully equipped kitchen, 2 bathrooms (1 ensuite), spacious living and dining room and small garden. Parking on road for one car. West Horrington is a mixture of old and new houses surrounded by farmland, and the road into the village ends at a wooden gate just three houses up from Hill End. So if you're looking for a friendly, peaceful, environment you'll find it here. There are plenty of interesting walks from the front door. If you want some exercise, walk just 20 yards from the front door and you're on a footpath leading to a wooded hillside with a stream running along the bottom (Biddlecombe). Follow the footpath alongside the stream and it will lead you to the Bishop's Palace in Wells. The bluebells in the wood are spectacular in spring. Pets welcome (2 dogs maximum) £15 per stay for 2nd dog. All linen and towels are provided along with a welcome pack of local products on arrival. There are plenty of good pubs and restaurants a short drive away in Wells and the surrounding villages. WiFi available.
