Our delightfully spacious, detached holiday house with its south facing balcony at Little Eccleston is close to coast and countyside and has spectacular views over the Lancashire Fylde. It is also within easy walking distance of the River Wyre with its historic Toll Bridge, beside which is the recently re-furbished Cartford Arms with its own brewery and high quality, well-prepared imaginative meals. And also Great Eccleston with its village shops, pubs and places to eat and drink, including an Italian Bistro and a celebrated Fish and Chip Restaurant. Here there is also an Open Market in the Village Square every Wednesday and a Farmer's Market once a month. The seaside resorts of Lytham, St.Anne's, Blackpool, Cleveleys and Fleetwood are only a short drive away. Whilst further a-field are the Fairtrade town of Garstang, the beautiful Forest of Bowland, the historic City of Lancaster, with its Castle and Priory, and for a full day out, the Magnificent English Lake District. We are easily accessible from the M55 (8 minutes) and ideally placed on a bus route for Poulton-le-Fylde Station. We are only a short drive away from Blackpool's famous Autumn illuminations and Blackpool Airport, for 30 minute day trips across to the Isle of Man. Our delightful accommodation is personally run by ourselves to a high standard of comfort and cleanliness and compromises of a large lounge with glorious views, 1 double en-suite bedroom and 2 single bedrooms, a family bathroom, large dining room, small sunroom, a well equipped kitchen and a large utility room with a dishwasher and washing machine. We have an enclosed sunny secluded garden at the rear, with an interesting variety of shrubs and trees and useful gardern furniture. There is a living flame gas fire in the spacious lounge and central heating throughout the house. We also provide crisp, clean bed linen, a good supply of towels and a well-stocked welcome hamper. Freshly made scones, jam and cream on arrival in the summer months and home made cakes in the winter. There is a flat screen colour televison with DVD recorder in the lounge and a colour television and CD player in the dining room, We regret we unable to accept pets and in the interests of others, insist on strictly non-smokers. We accept short breaks out of season and are prepared to accommodate any reasonable request regarding arrival and departure dates. Generous reductions of £50 per week for only two people throughout the season. Generous Reductions from 28th January 2011 to 2nd April 2011; £330 for 4 people and £290 for 2 people.
