Lomond View Holiday Cottage is a fully modernised semi-detached cottage situated in an idyllic and peaceful location in the heart of The Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park on the outskirts of Aberfoyle. The cottage overlooks Ben Lomond to the north and open fields and forestry to the south. Lomond View cottage is situated off a quiet forest road and with a secure garden, is ideal for children and pets. The holiday cottage is in The Trossachs, a perfect location for walking and cycling with 500 kilometres of tracks and paths, quite literally, on your doorstep. We have a wide selection of information on walks, cycle routes etc for you to read through. Fishing, horse-riding, golfing, hill walking, water sports are all available nearby. Alternatively, simply relax in our secluded south facing garden and look out for our visiting wildlife. Aberfoyle village is just a short 10 min stroll away down a well lit road where you will find a supermarket, a variety of shops, bars and restaurants to supply you with all the food and refreshments you will need for your stay. It is also an excellent base for touring with many tourist attractions and main cities all within an hours drive. There are also regular bus links from the village and excellent local taxi services. Whatever the weather, whatever the season we offer you the opportunity to relax in warm and comfortable accommodation in one of the most scenic parts of Scotland! The cottage has 2 bedrooms and comfortably sleeps 4 persons. On the ground floor is a Twin Bedroom next to the Bathroom and on the first floor is a large Double Bedroom. The Living Room and Dining area is an open plan layout which has a lovely living flame gas fire. The cottage also has full central heating throughout making it warm and welcoming on the coldest days. The front of the cottage has a small sun lounge which is ideal for enjoying breakfast on a sunny day or relaxing at the end of a hard days exploring.The kitchen is fully equipped with gas hob, electric oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, washer/dryer and dishwasher plus all the utensils you should need for preparing a meal.The lounge has a flat screen 32' TV and Freeview package giving a good range of channels and there is also a DVD player and CD player if you want to watch or listen to your own entertainment. There is also a small range of DVDs and CDs in the lounge.The toilet is fully tiled and warm and has a jacuzzi bath and shower. Towels are provided so no need to pack any. The double bedroom upstairs is large and enjoys views to the front all the way to Ben Lomond in the distance and the Loch Ard Forest. The room is light and has ample storage space and has a flatscreen 19' TV with Freeview and an ipod docking station.
