Selsey, Seascape: This well maintained seafront terraced house is one of five in a private development offering well furnished, light and airy acccommodation with stunning uninterrupted views of the Isle of Wight and direct access to the beach down a shingle bank at the bottom of the garden. The property has 3 bedrooms and comfortably sleeps up to 6 people. The largest bedroom has twin beds and access to a balcony that looks out over the sea. There is also a double bedroom , a small bedroom with bunk beds plus a sofa bed in the lounge. The first floor bathroom contains a toilet and bath. Downstairs is a shower room with toilet and basin. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a microwave, gas hob, double electric oven and grill and fridge, washing machine, dishwasher and microwave. The large through lounge/diner has comforabel sofas and arm chairs with a dining table that seats up to 8. Facilities include a TV, DVD and video plus a selection of books, films, games and puzzles. The lounge connects with a south facing sun room which has 2 sun chairs and a further small dining table that seats 4. The property has a small paved rear garden with a bench for al fresco dining. The garden leads onto a communual area shared with other residents of Clayton Court and the beach. There is off street parking for 2 cars and there is always parking in Clayton Road despite the close proximity to the beach. Alternative access to the beach is via a public slipway and steps 150 yards away in Warner Road. West beach is a mixture of pebbles and sand. At low tide it is possible to walk along the beach to Selsey Bill and Selsey East Beach with its fishing boats and Lifeboat Station. In addition the sandy beach at West Wittering - rated as one of the UK's top 50 beaches with surfing and scenic East Head is 20 minutes drive away. The area is ideal for birdwatching and walking in Pagham and Chichester Harbours and on the South Downs; golf, with courses at Goodwood, Selsey and Chichester; horseriding and racing at Fontwell and Goodwood and diving. There is a shopping centre, cinema complex & theatre in historic Chichester (10 miles). Nearby attractions include Arundel Castle, Tangmere Aviation Museum and Portsmouth and its historic dockyard and ferries to the Isel of Wight. Locally in Selsey Village (0.75 miles) there are food shops and a good selection of pubs and restaurants. There is an indoor pool, gym and sana at West Sands Holiday Park (1.5 miles). Pets accepted by prior agreement. An outside hosepipe is available for washing your dog down and Selsey West Beach allows dogs all year round.
