Thurston View - Part of an elevated terrace of old, stone, miners' cottages which have magnificent views towards Coniston village and the lake; yet only a few minutes walk from the centre of the village. The Cottage has been subject to a thorough but sympathetic renovation resulting in a comfortable layout. Located in the heart of the Lake District, Coniston is a small village with shops, pubs and several cafes/restaurants.

There are many walks leaving directly from the village. Across the lake is Grizedale forest whilst to the rear of the Cottage tower the Old Man of Coniston, Wetherlam and the Yewdale Fells. Boat and cycle hire are available locally and many activities can be enjoyed both on the lake and around the village.

A third of the cost of the holiday is payable to the owner within one week of booking the following property

This property sleeps up to 4 people. The Cottage offers 2 double bedrooms, bathroom, lounge, dining-kitchen, utility room. small garden area to the front of the cottage with bbq and garden furniture.(down some steps) Minimum stay of 4 nights over the 2007 Christmas and New Year period
