Description

Spa Cottage dates back to the early 19th century and has recently undergone extensive improvement, whilst still maintaining the original character. With its storage heating and wood burning stove it provides a warm and cosy home for four. There is a pleasant and sunny rear garden complete with patio furniture. Braithwaite is a pretty Lakeland village in the North Lakes tucked between Grisedale Pike and Skiddaw where the unspoilt Newlands Dale joins the Valley of Derwent. The cottage stands in a row of old stone cottages at the side of the Coledale Beck. Bassenthwaite Lake and Derwent are within 5 minutes and the Valleys of Borrowdale, Buttermere and the Whinlatter Forest are close by.
