Poppy Cottage is a 19th Century end-of-terrace Lakeland cottage situated in the quiet village of Bothel, providing easy access to Keswick, the Western Lakes, Skiddaw, The Solway Coast and Carlisle (Keswick 12 miles, Cockermouth 8 miles, Solway Coast 10 miles, Carlisle 20 miles). Renovated to comfortable modern standards, the cottage offers well-equipped accommodation. There is an attractive enclosed garden with facilities for relaxation and outdoor dining, together with summerhouse/bicycle storage. Many essentials provided. We offer to do guests' grocery shopping in time for their arrival. Guests can also order local Cumbrian produce and even take some home at the end of their stay.
