Overlooking the quiet, unspoilt Howgill Mountains Fawcett Mill is situated only 2 miles from the M6 motorway and is hidden in its own tranquil valley, with a stream running from an adjacent waterfall through 7 acres of meadowland. Built in 1794 as the mill owner's house it is furnished in comfortable country style, with oak beams and open hearths throughout. It is equipped to a very high standard with full gas central heating and fitted carpets. Outside, as well as barbecue areas, there are extensive terraces and patios bordering the stream. Fawcett Mill is an idyllic gathering place for a large family or group of friends. It is perfect for reunions, get togethers, Christmas/New Year/Easter celebrations, or a relaxing break away from it all. Summer or winter the environment and scenery is stunning.
