Harriet, the owner, will cook meals of local food delivered to your door. 7 warm, comfortable cottages with views to Lake District hills. Nearby is Talkin Tarn for boating, walking and the golf course. There is good local pub within walking distance. Walking, wildlife, peace and quiet too. Excellent base for Hadrian's Wall, the Lake District, Scottish Borders. Carlisle and M6 is 10 miles, Ullswater 25 miles, Gretna 12 miles.
