A walk along the banks of the River Blyth to nearby Walberswick with its sandy beaches or across the river to Southwold, caught in its own time warp and still one of East Anglias best kept secrets. Down the hill from Sunny Cottage is the White Hart which is both child and pet friendly, and in the pub grounds is a small village shop and post office.
