Nearby are: golf course, pony trekking centre, lead mining archaeology, Alston steam train and beautiful historic Hexham. World Heritage Sites of Hadrian’s Wall and Durham are easy to get to. In reach of Lake District, North Yorkshire and Northumberland National Parks, or simply enjoy walking from the doorstep in the lovely valleys and moors of Hexhamshire.
