Description
Tideway was built for my grandfather, a local fisherman in 1935. Tideway overlooks the sea and on stormy days spray has been known to hit the front windows! Fortunately this does not make the house cold as it is fully centrally heated and has double-glazing. The living room also has a coal fire, which adds to the atmosphere in the evenings. Tideway has enclosed gardens front and back and a drive large enough to park 2 cars off the road. Many holiday makers return year after year but we still have some vacancies available. Beadnell is a small village with a post office/shop, pubs serving meals and a fish and chip shop. There is a small working harbour and a sandy bay as well as the beach "Tideway" overlooks. "Tideway makes an excellent base for visiting the surrounding area including the Farne Islands, local castles and Alnwick Garden.
