This peaceful hamlet in the Pennines is perfect for an away-from-it-all holiday amid moors and dales. It is a haven for wildlife and there are wonderful walks. The ancient village of Blanchland, (2 miles) with shop, pub, gallery, playground and tearooms is one of the most picturesque villages in the region. The renovated cottage retains the stone floors (with cosy rugs), pitch-pine doors, and cool stone shelf! The cottage is comfortable with log stove and CH, Sky TV, Video/DVD and phone. Bedrooms are pretty and bathroom has over bath shower. The garden includes furniture, barbecue, bike storage and has fantastic views. Sorry no pets
