4 Cottages - Nestling in a beautiful glen surrounded by hills, forests and streams these cottages are the original outbuildings of a traditional 18th century farm, renovated to the highest standard using, where possible, original features and items. Its location makes an ideal base for exploring Cowal, Loch Fyne, Loch Lomond, The Trossachs, Kintyre, Oban and Glencoe plus easy access via one of the shortest sea ferry crossings in the world to the Island of Bute. Local leisure activities include walking, cycling, birdwatching, golf, fishing, pony trekking and quad-biking. A sailing and windsurfing school is based in Tighnabruaich (9 miles). The local pub and restaurant is a delightful 20 min walk down a country lane and there is a seasonal shop 1 mile away. During the salmon-fishing season a small stretch of river is available for one rod.
