Built in late Victorian times and once the village Post Office and shop, the Old Post Ofice offers modern and sytlish accommodation. It is but a few steps from the beach and has amazing uninterrupted sea views. Powfoot is a picturesque, tranquil village with an excellent golf course, a fantastic spa, horse riding and a great pub/restaurant. Cycling, walking, birdwatching and fishing are also very popular. Powfoot is on the Galloway Tourist route solway coast heritage trail. The area has many attractions for all ages and is also very accessible to the Lake District along with the historic Hadrians Wall.

This property offers 2 bedrooms 1 is a large double room which has a 4 poster bed and also has a double futon. The other bedroom has a double bed and a single bed (the family room.) Fantastic outlook onto the large sandy beach from the living room. Has a recently fitted and well-equipped kitchen/dining area Saturday changeover in July, Aug,Christmas and New Year but may be flexible other weeks 1 well-behaved dog accepted, please note, your dog will not be allowed in certain areas of the cottage and a pet 'bond' of £75.00 payable direct to the owner within 1 week off booking, this is refundable if your doggy behaves.Special wedding packages at an additional cost of £40.00 conatct owner for details
