A delightful two-storey cottage, featuring natural wood and beams, attached to the east wing of The Old Rectory and totally self-contained. It enjoys lovely views of the Shropshire countryside. The Old Rectory is located 3 miles from the market town of Oswestry in the picturesque village of Selattyn, with its ancient church, village pub and school. It is a perfect base for visiting the nearby Roman City of Chester or the historic town of Shrewsbury and the area's several museums, as well as the National Trust properties of Chirk Castle, Erddig, Powys Castle and Attingham park. There are many unspoilt beauty spots nearby such as the meres at Ellesmere, Llanrhaeadr waterfall, Lake Vyrnwy, the Berwyns, the Ceiriog Valley and Llangollen. It is less than 2 miles from Offa's Dyke long distance footpath and provides a perfect centre for walking. Please note: Short breaks cannot include both a Friday and a Saturday
