Description

These two cottages both nestle in the delightful village of Hartington, which is situated at the head of the Dove Valley, overlooking Derbyshire hills and the beautiful Wolfscote and Berresford Dales. An ideal hide-away with stunning scenery and so quiet you can hear the cows munching grass in the fields below. Both of these traditional, 200 year old stone cottages has individual character, with beamed 'olde-worlde' touches and pretty stenciling to complement the decor. Wander round the village with its duck pond, village green, shops and pubs. The Olde Cheese Shop sells the famous handmade Hartington Stilton. It is an ideal base to explore the Peak District, to cycle on the nearby cycle trails or to walk the dales.

The property offers 1 double bedroom with iron bed, 1 twin bedded room with beamed ceiling (both on ground floor), shower room, open plan living area with kitchen on the first floor. Please note: Weekly bookings operate a Friday changeover September to June and a Saturday changeover during July and August. SHORT BREAKS can be booked directly with the owner only.
