Tideswell is a quaint and bustling Peakland village whose Church is known as the Cathedral of the Peak. Tideswell regularly wins the Derbyshire Best Kept Village Award and the Britain in Bloom Village Award and is a Conservation Village which lies in the heart of the Peak District National Park. It has a fine range of 'local shops', pubs and tearooms, which specialise in fresh local produce and is well placed for exploring the delights of the Peak District with many lovely walks from the door.Buxton, Bakewell and Chatsworth House are within 10min drive. The 3 Cottages are well equipped and beautifully furnished with everything you need for your stay. Short breaks available. Butterfield Cottage is a pretty double fronted 18th century stone cottage set on the edge of Tideswell, just five minutes walk from the centre It has character, rural views and backs on to fields and open spaces. It sleeps 6 Bluebell Cottage is a pretty 17th Century stone cottage, formerly a Village Inn. It has been fully refurbished to a high standard and many original features and beams have been retained. Sleeps 8 Badger Cottage is a pretty 18th Century mill workers cottage with cast iron lead latticed stone mullioned windows and is a Grade 2 listed historic building. It is set in the heart of Cressbrook with wonderful views over Monsal Dale (picturesque village near Tideswell). Sleeps 6
